The Pride Plus Team
Patricia Austria – Client Experience Officer
Pat's favourite thing about being a client experience officer is to be able to help and connect with people. In Pat's spare time she loves to crochet, work out, play with her cats, and spend time with her family. She also loves travelling. Experiencing new things, going to unfamiliar places and seeing new faces fascinates her.
Angie Diputado - Client Experience Officer
Angie is passionate about people and understands that it's important to provide exceptional service with empathy and care. She always has a positive attitude and a friendly smile. In her spare time, Angie enjoys watching movies, listening to music, doing dance exercises and playing badminton. She is also a loving mother of a one-year-old baby girl and a fur mom of two dogs.
Naveena Seethapathy – Physiotherapist
Naveena is a passionate physiotherapist in Pascoe Vale where her 15 years of clinical experience shapes every physio consultation. Naveena’s dedication to keeping your body active and pain-free is backed with knowledge too as she is an APA titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Not stopping there she’s also an accredited Early Intervention Physiotherapist with Worksafe and the TAC. When not treating in clinic Naveena fits in competitive badminton and is busy raising two boisterous boys in Pascoe Vale. Injuries on the sporting field, at work and pre and post-surgery, are all clinical strengths of Naveena.
Mike Fitzsimon – Exercise Physiologist
Mike excels at prescribing outstanding and unique evidence based exercise that improves performance, sustains well-being and rehabilitates injury. He empowers clients to make better decisions, enabling them to reach their full potential. Mike also enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, exercising regularly, listening to music and travelling.
Jade Tan – Podiatrist
Jade has focused her career on musculoskeletal injuries of the foot and lower leg, with a special interest in how foot mechanics influence the knee. She uses a holistic approach in her treatment in combination with a large focus on patient involvement. When Jade isn’t practising at PridePlus Podiatry, she undertakes lower limb musculoskeletal research at the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre (LASEM), teaches within the podiatry school at La Trobe University, as well as completing her PhD on orthoses and knee arthritis.
Aidan Rogers – Exercise Physiologist
Aidan loves helping people stay strong and healthy through promoting healthy lifestyle habits, behaviour change and making routine exercise a fun and enjoyable experience. Aidan completed his Masters of Exercise Physiology from La Trobe University in Bendigo, VIC. Prior to that he completed an exercise science degree, alongside internships that developed his experience in health and wellbeing, strength and conditioning and sports science for athletes, general population and chronic disease populations. Outside of work, Aidan can be found kicking goals for his beloved football club and camping in the beautiful outdoors surrounding Melbourne.
Tanya Contis – Podiatrist
Tanya understands the importance of having happy feet that are forgiving of life’s strenuous activities – from navigating the uneven cobblestoned streets of Europe, to trekking with the dog through the rugged local bush tracks of Emerald and surrounds. She values a holistic approach to foot care and enjoys encompassing all areas of Podiatry in her work, such as general podiatry care, diabetic foot management and prevention, ingrown toenails, sports injuries and paediatrics. She also values the role of footwear and having the right fit, and encourages footwear assessments as part of developing a comprehensive treatment plan.
Ben Westaway – Podiatrist
Ben graduated from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science/Masters of Podiatry in 2012.
In his years as a Podiatrist Ben has worked in multiple settings. Ben has worked with a leading running shoe company, in sports focused private practice and in general podiatry practice. Ben believes each setting has helped to build on what has become a strong clinical skill set. Accompanying Ben's strength as a clinical podiatrist is his ability to work with you to understand your needs and your individual goals. Ben Pride's himself most on his level of personal care, understanding and compassion.
Ben believes identifying a goal of treatment is a powerful tool.
"We all have things we need our feet to get us through. A days work. A days play. A week long hike. A run or game of sport. Come to see me with a goal - and let's work together on a plan to achieve it"
Hannah Moloney - Podiatrist
Hannah completed her podiatry studies at La Trobe University, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. She has an interest in all aspects of podiatry and tries to incorporate a holistic approach to her care. Hannah strives to not just treat her patients presenting complaints but also tries to find the underlying cause of the problem for better long term results. Hannah was raised on a farm in South West Victoria and loves to get back home when she can. She also enjoys all sports and has a special interest in tennis, running and yoga.
Tim Mulholland – Podiatrist
Just like falling in love and cycling around Melbourne, when Tim fell for podiatry, he fell hard. Chronic overuse injuries, ankle sprains, and the physics of orthotic therapy are still as exciting and fresh as they were all those years ago. Now with nearly 15 years experience working with feet including 7 years and counting teaching podiatry at La Trobe University; Tim’s as dedicated to your foot care as ever. Education, running and laughing with old friends keep him going. Oh, and the mighty Geelong Cats. If you need a podiatrist to talk feet & footy, Tim’s your man.
Zainab Alnajar – Podiatrist
As a podiatrist, Zainab strives to be the best podiatrist for your needs. Her journey started with a double degree. Masters of podiatric practice and a bachelor’s degree in applied science. Understanding you and your feet is a given.
Zainab believes that communication is the key and ensures all her clients are comfortable when attending to their podiatric needs. As a podiatrist with those valuable bilingual skills Zainab is able to help both English and Arabic speakers achieve their goals.
