Orthotic Rescue | Melbourne CBD
Your orthotics have not worked. Get a new Pride pair for $0.
Bring us the pair you are no longer confident in. We will work out what it was trying to do, why it has not helped enough and what will give you the clearest next step.
If a new custom orthotic is the right answer, we will make one new pair of Pride Paris orthotics with a $0 device fee.
For eligible new clients aged 18 and over. Melbourne CBD. See the short offer guide below before booking.
A proper second look
You should not have to buy another guess.
The Orthotic Rescue assessment starts with the pair you already own, not with an assumption that you need another device.
Maybe the pair is uncomfortable. Maybe it does not fit the shoes you wear. Maybe it changed something but not the problem you wanted solved. Or maybe you are not even sure what it was meant to do.

Understand the old pair
We look at what it was trying to do and what has and has not changed.
Look at the whole picture
Your footwear, activities, symptoms and goals all shape the recommendation.
Leave with a clear next step
You will know whether another pair is worth considering, and what to do if it is not.
The point is not to sell you another device. It is to give you a better answer.
One connected plan
Orthotics push. Muscles pull. Your plan needs both.
When an orthotic is part of the answer, it can change the load on your foot. Exercise helps your foot and leg build the capacity to handle that load again.
The orthotic has a job
It may make walking, work or training more manageable by changing how load is shared through the foot.
Exercise has a job too
We set how much, how often and how hard around what you can tolerate now, your goals and how you respond.
A plan you can follow
Your exercise dose is adjusted around your symptoms, schedule and goals, not taken from a generic handout.
What your booking includes
Bring the old pair. Leave with a clearer plan.
If a new Pride Paris pair is the right clinical pathway, the device fee is $0. The assessment and required review remain paid consultations.
The initial assessment establishes what has gone wrong and what should happen next.
The required review fits the new pair and progresses the plan, or progresses the agreed plan without orthotics.
The exact consultation fee depends on the podiatrist you choose. You do not need to pre-purchase a larger course of care. Further reviews are recommended only when clinically appropriate and are charged at the treating clinician's normal review fee.
What happens after you book
Three steps to a clearer recommendation
Bring the pair and the shoes
Bring the pair that has not worked, the shoes you need it to work in and reasonable proof of where and when it was supplied.
Tell us what you expected
Tell us what you hoped it would change, what happened instead and what you want to get back to doing.
Get a clear recommendation
If a new custom orthotic is right, we scan, prescribe and make one eligible Pride Paris pair with a $0 device fee. We also explain whether exercise, footwear or load management should be part of the plan and what the first dose should look like.
If another orthotic is not the right next step, we progress a different treatment plan. That is still a useful result. You are not committing to a new pair before the assessment.
The 30-minute fitting and treatment review is required. If we make a new pair, we fit it in the footwear that matters. If we do not, we use the review to progress the agreed plan.
If a new pair is right
Your new pair should fit your life, not just your foot.
The shoes you wear, the activities you care about and the problem you want solved all matter. Pride Paris is 3D-printed from the same type of material used in running-shoe midsoles, with the shape prescribed around that bigger picture.
That does not make an orthotic a magic fix. It gives the device a clear job while we also consider exercise, footwear, activity and capacity.
What if the new device needs to change?
If the geometry needs changing, we update the design and print a new device rather than repeatedly modifying the same orthotic. There is no additional device fee. Normal consultation fees still apply.
Short offer guide
Could this be you?
You do not need to know why the old pair has not worked. Eligibility is confirmed during your assessment.
You bought orthotics to help. Instead, they are still a problem. Bring the pair, tell us what you expected it to do and we will help you work out what makes sense next.
This may be a fit if
- ✓You bought custom orthotics in the last 12 months, but they have not delivered what you hoped.
- ✓You are new to Pride Podiatry and want another clinician to look at the whole picture.
- ✓You are unsure whether the problem is the device, the shoes, the plan or something else.
- ✓You can bring the pair, relevant footwear and reasonable proof to the assessment.
Formal criteria and exclusions
The qualifying custom pair must have been supplied in Australia by a registered podiatrist within the previous 12 months. The offer is for eligible new clients aged 18 and over, limited to one qualifying pair and one use per person.
It does not apply to retail or prefabricated insoles, overseas or older devices, spare or duplicate pairs, ordinary wear or damage, or care connected with compensation, insurer, employer, legal or other excluded third-party arrangements.
If you do not meet the criteria, you can still continue as ordinary Pride care. Normal consultation and device fees apply outside the offer.
Bring these three things
The pair
The custom orthotics that have not worked.
The shoes
The footwear you use with them and anything relevant to your goals.
Reasonable proof
A receipt, itemised invoice, private-health claim statement, dispensing record or dated clinic correspondence.
You may redact the purchase price and unrelated services. You do not upload proof, clinical records or device photographs when booking. We usually sight proof at the clinic and record only what is needed to administer the offer.
What happens to your old pair?
It remains yours. On rare occasions, your podiatrist may decide the existing devices are fundamentally sound and one specific modification is the best clinical option. If so, that modification has a $0 device fee. It is not a promised or required step, and the treating podiatrist decides what is clinically useful.
Questions people actually ask
Before you book
Am I committing to a new pair when I book?+
No. You are booking an assessment. We decide after looking at the problem, the pair, your footwear and your goals. A new Pride Paris pair with a $0 device fee is included only when you meet the offer criteria and a new custom orthotic is clinically appropriate.
Will you tell me my old orthotics were wrong?+
Not automatically. Your old pair gives us useful clues about what somebody was trying to do. We will look at what has and has not changed, why the pair may not be helping enough and what would make sense next.
What if I do not want another pair?+
That is okay. The assessment may point towards footwear, rehabilitation, load management, further assessment or another plan without orthotics. The goal is a useful answer, not another device for its own sake.
Will I need exercises as well, and how much?+
There is no single exercise dose for everyone. If an orthotic is part of the plan, we set how much, how often and how hard around your symptoms, current capacity and what you want to get back to. We review your response and adjust the plan if needed.
Will I need orthotics forever?+
Not necessarily, although it depends on the problem, your goals and how you respond. An orthotic is one part of the plan, not the only way to build capacity. We review what support you need as your foot and leg become more capable.
Why do I need the second consultation?+
The second consultation is where we fit and assess a new pair in your footwear and progress the exercise, footwear and load-management plan. If orthotics are not the right next step, we use the visit to progress your agreed treatment pathway.
What if the new Pride pair needs to change?+
This is uncommon. If the geometry needs changing, we update the design and print a new device rather than repeatedly modifying the same orthotic. There is no additional device fee. Normal consultation fees still apply.
Can I claim a private-health rebate?+
Any consultation rebate is subject to the usual eligibility and billing rules. The $0 device component cannot be used to generate a paid device receipt or claim.
What if I am an existing Pride client?+
This is a new-client acquisition offer for people whose custom orthotics were supplied by another clinic. Existing Pride clients continue through Pride's usual clinical and device-support pathway.
Do not buy another guess.
Bring the pair. Bring the shoes. Get a proper second look and a clear plan. If a new Pride Paris pair is the right answer, the device fee is $0.
The assessment and required fitting review are paid consultations. Eligibility is confirmed in clinic, and no device or treatment outcome is guaranteed.
